Our Sunday services are informal and relaxed, an opportunity to meet together to worship, be challenged and engage with God.
Our worship is lively and spirit filled, we even occasionally add some old-school liturgy into the mix.
We take the word of God seriously, and we also take seriously the need to apply the word to our contemporary situation and the needs around us.
We take an open and questioning approach to Christianity: we certainly don’t have a dogmatic and authoritarians’ approach to doing church. We prefer to talk in terms of shared values rather than a ‘party line’.
We believe that every member of our church is called to ministry and finding our unique shape is vitally important – you won’t get away with being a ‘pew filler’!
We believe that building community and relationships is important so it’s kind of our tradition to eat together and have a cuppa after the meeting.
We meet every week at 4pm in St James Church, for directions please see the contact page.
