We don’t just meet on Sundays for a couple of hours, we believe that being a Christian is more than that, it’s about how we live our lives. Saying that we do meet on Sundays and we love it! But we also have purpose groups, run some courses and are part of the Café Church network.

Church Services:
We meet every week to build community and worship God. Our meetings are relaxed and informal, giving space for us to question and learn from the bible and each other.

We now have podcasts of our sermons/talks from our church services. This is no excuse to not turn up for Sunday services (!), but if you have good reason then listen in and catch up on our teaching.

Purpose Groups:
We have a focus on social action and making a difference to the communities in which we operate. From the outset we wanted to establish groups/projects that started to have an impact locally and nationally: we have called these Purpose Groups. More information can be found here

Knowing God
We are keen to offer an open and relaxed environment where, without pressure, people can think through, discuss and question the claims of Jesus. On a regular basis we run an enquirers course, and courses based on our values.

Restoration Project
We are working towards restoring the iconic St James Church building. This is an exciting and challenging project which will provide a community facility, exhibition space, employment and a place of worship.
