Due to the very poor condition of the structure and fabric of the Nave and Chancel roofs it is proposed to reconstruct the Nave and Chancel roofs including associated parapet details, stone and weathering details, rainwater goods and disposal. The roofs are to be completely stripped to allow urgent structural repairs to the Nave trusses and other timberwork, treatment for rot and subsequent reinstatement of the two slate roofs complete with new flashings and Mansafe system.
