We are very excited to be welcoming Deborah as the new worship pastor at St James in the city. Deborah is from the North West, studied in Liverpool and is looking forward to returning to the city.

Debs is a talented musician and songwriter, she is currently studying at Worship Central, a year-long course run by HTB in conjunction with Tim Hughes (www.worshipcentral.org). After graduating from Worship Central in August, Debs will be heading up the M6 to start work with us.

Debs will be building on the talent that we already have and we believe that we will be going places in our worship that we have never been before – exciting times.

Here are a few words from Debs about joining the St James in the city team:

“I can’t put into words just how blessed I feel to be joining St James’s church this coming September. I had the opportunity to visit and lead worship at a service in January, and I remember saying to God having been so welcomed and having felt so at home, that if He was calling me to this church family – I couldn’t say no! I believe God is raising up this church to be a centre for worship in the very heart of Liverpool and I can't wait to be a part of it!”
