Baptisms in the Cathedral Featured

On Sunday 26 September we had a fantastic Baptism service in the Cathedral. We have no running water in St James church so we decamped to the Cathedral where Bishop Richard baptised 8 members of our church.

Here is what a few people had to say about the 'big splash' we made at the cathedral:

"It was great and challenging to be part of a family full of life, reality, joy, pain. A family not content to look nice or polished or presentable but one that seems to want to live both in the workplace and the gutter. Added to the privilege of standing with you all it made it quite a day for us." (visitor)

"What a great day for so many! What a privilege to join in the big splash in the cathedral with those who have recently come to faith in Christ, with those who have just found their real identity in and through God's son! And from such a variety of backgrounds and a scattering round the globe! What a delight for us all to be joined by so many friends in our growing church family! As they say - AWESOME!" (a member of St James who was baptised)
