Purpose:

Eat, drink and be glad

What:

The Oxford Dictionary defines a ‘nexus’ as a series of connected things’ or ‘a focal point’.  At St James in the City, one of our core values is to ‘Live as community’. Nexus aims to work on our initial and natural firendships, to form deep and meaningful relationships, both within STJ and beyond the life of the church.  We do this by basing our purpose group on Ecclesiastes 8v15, ‘so I commend the enjoyment of life, because there is nothing better for a person under the sun than to eat and drink and be glad’.

Who:

Anyone who likes to eat, drink and be glad.

When:

We meet fortnightly on Wednesday evenings at 7.00pm

Where:

Various locations, including, the Fazakerley House (L18)
